Seats
The majority of triple buggies start as single pushchairs. Some models can be converted to accept the second seat using adapters. You'll also see that some models allow you to add a ride-on board to older children who wish to walk, but need a little help.
Check out the Joie Evalite Duo for a lightweight option perfect for urban streets. It is easy to maneuver and has a large basket with lots of storage. It can be used for twins beginning at birth and will accept two car seats, or a carrycot that has a seat. However, the seats need to be oriented forward and there's no space for a shopping bag under, so you'll need a sidepack for this.
Mountain Buggy Duet will be an ideal choice If you like off-road driving. three wheel pushchair 's a side by tandem with the slimmest footprint of any double buggy on the market. This allows it to fit through narrow doors and on public transport and also allows you to go up and down kerbs with no trouble. It also has a handbrake that is attached to the adjustable handlebar to provide additional security and safety.
Another lightweight choice is the UPPAbaby Vista 2 Double it can be used to accommodate twins or a toddler and baby. The seats have multi-position reclining and UPF 50+ sunshades, and the canopy can be adjusted to keep the sun from your child's eyes. The Vista 2 can be converted into triple by adding UPPAbaby's 'PiggyBack’ board for older children.
The iCandy Orange double buggies are among the most well-known available. This is due to their superb comfort. It is a true all terrain pushchair, with a soft suspension that makes light work of bumpy surfaces. It has 30 different seating configurations and a built-in board for older children who like to walk, and a 'cinema mode' that raises the back seats to provide better visibility.
Alternately, the phil&teds dots is a fantastic single buggy that is available from day one which is then able to take 2 (or 3!) different configurations. This is especially helpful when you have a child in a car seat as the frame can be equipped with a wedgie for optimum position, and also car seat adapters to various brands.
Suspension
The suspension of a double 3-wheel buggy will determine how easily your child/children and you can push it. It is important to enjoy a smooth ride since babies feel every bump on the road. This is especially the case if you're driving on rough terrain such as grass or unpaved roads. Some models have locking front tires that help maneuver and get over obstacles like curbs.
Some models use air-filled tyres that provide a fantastic all-terrain experience, but they can be prone to punctures therefore, make sure you have a spare set in the trunk. Some models have gel or foam tyres, specifically designed to handle bumps and can be less susceptible to punctures, but you might find them to be a bit stiff and uncomfortable for your child's back should you decide to jog.

Folding
A three-wheel double buggy can be folded up neatly to be stored. There are models that fold flat and then stand up (as as if they were in a pushchair) as well as ones that pop out to reveal more of an umbrella-like fold that has an electric brake. In general, the more wheels a buggy has the more able it will be to navigate over rough terrain. This is particularly true if your wheels are bigger than the typical size. You will have more stability and it is less likely that you will have to flip or tip your child.
The iCandy Wave is a popular option. It can be used in conjunction with an infant car seat from birth, and later converted into a double buggy side-by-side when your child is old. It's a light option that is simple to push. It also comes with a bumper bar and raincover.
Another alternative is the phil&teds sports which is future-proof because it's a fantastic single buggy right from the start and then adapts to accommodate 2 (or even three!) All of this is contained in its compact footprint. It features an innovative three-wheel design that includes a sling for greater maneuverability and stability.
This is one of the best double buggies for jogging with your kids. It comes with a lockable front wheel which will help you maintain control over hills or off-road terrain. It features a big undercarriage, an adjustable handlebar, and a soft suspension for a comfortable ride.
It's a light and compact option that folds easily by one hand, making it perfect for traveling. Its clever frame expands to accommodate an extra seat, but still weighs just 11kg. This makes it easy to lift and maneuver. It can be used with an infant car seat, a carrycot, or both. This lets you get the best of all worlds.
